The fact DOctor Who's on tonight makes me both happy and sad...Happy 'cause it's Doctor Who! Sad because we've only got 3 with David Tennant left
Which is sad...But happy days for David Tennant!
Oh, at the risk of insighting wa=rath of fans...
But before I do that I will say, 10 is my favourite Doctor- he's my Doctor, and he always will be as far as Im concerned. I love Eccleston, I love the Baker episodes I've seen and I adore Doctor 5, Peter Davison, but 10 is my Doctor.
Anyway. On to wrath insighting-
The news feed on google announces very happily David Tennant won a kids poll of their favourite Doctor. In 2nd place was Eccleston.
Well not being funny- it was voted for by kids who aren't very old... Very few will have seen Classic Who, and Eccleston did one series. David Tennant's done 4 series, and the specials adn he's still here!
Kids see his face on the merchandise, see him on the adverts, him on other tv shows....
So of course,most kids are gonna vote for the guy who they can most vividly picture- ie. Tennant.
Now, Im not seeing this is true of all kids-far from it. But the younger kids who watch Who who are saying Tennant's their favourite Doctor, who are 8 or 9, can rarely remember Eccleston they only know Tennant.My little brothers only just caught up on teh Eccleston episodes through repeats... he didn't see Eccleston the first time round....
But hey, I'm not overly bothered beyond that point.
David Tennant is my Doctor, end of...
and he's on tv in 45 minutes (On BBC breakfast news for those interested
)So yay for our Time Lord!
